With the Teen Card that's not an issue. Parents set up the card and can not only keep track of spending but if necessary temporarily suspend the card. It's also very easy to manage online which is a plus compared to some of the other pre-paid debit card systems out there that while they can be used for a similar purpose the monitoring aspect is not anywhere close. Having experienced the nightmare of co-signing on an account for one of mine that over drew it? The PAYjr system avoids that scenario as well. If you have teenagers, I recommend heading over and seeing if their system will work for you...

Teen Card would have come in handy...
Alas with my older four now being over 18 and my youngest not quite ready for the Teen Card I can see where it would have been a huge benefit when my older four were just a bit younger. I felt as if I was the Mom ATM on more than one occasion as well as wondering about their money management skills. I do most of my banking online and I don't like to keep cash around the house. There was more than one time where I had to trust my debit card with a teen so they could take out the needed cash and hope they a) remembered to give it back and b) did not take out more than what was given permission for.
