Teenage and almost teenage girls still like to color...

Realizing that pre-teen and teenage girls enjoy having fun with Coloring Pages is the premise behind The Doll Place's new web offering that allows those who register for free to not only be able to color online different pictures but to upload some of their own drawings and share them with friends so that they can try to color the pictures as well.

It is a fun way for any child to spend some time on the computer. I tested it out with my 12 year old and she had a very enjoyable time. Not only did she enjoy the many different pictures to select from but she spent some time looking at what some of the other girls had done as far as sharing their completed pictures. She especially enjoyed the fantasy and the anime collections.

Given today's tech savvy teens and pre-teens, most of them would have no problem scanning and uploading their own selection of a drawing. While you can color pictures without having a membership, I can see the additional social benefit aspect of saving your pictures to be able to share with other friends as well as being able to take advantage of the uploading feature.
