I signed up thru an online stock trading system called, "Share Builder" where you can buy stocks without paying high brokerage or other fees. It's a simple program where you decide which stocks you want and how much you are willing to invest weekly or monthly or even on a one time basis. It's something I've always wanted to do and with the money I am making right now on my blogs, I'm not rich but rather than fritter it away on a dinner out, I decided it was time to try something that could create a better financial future for me. What company did I pick? I stuck true to my buy local first beliefs buying my first share of stock in a company that has a local manufacturing plant here and has a promising future. First Solar...
Once a month I'll buy an additional share in either First Solar or another local based company. Look out wall Street!
