Especially in light of how today has gone so far:
If you spend too much time thinking about how to make everything equal and fair between you and your friends, you will create way too much work for yourself. Life just isn't fair all the time, as difficult as that may be for you to acknowledge. It's a messy affair full of selfishness and selflessness. Look at the big picture. As long as you think things are generally equitable, don't worry. You mustn't get bogged down in counting nickels and dimes.
