The choice of Carrie Fisher as the new co-host with Robert Osborne on TCM's "The Essentials" was kind of a surprise. However, that's the news from Hollywood. We don't have cable tv here so I've gotten out of touch with what TCM is doing but given I have been a fan of most of Fisher's work, this could be the final reason to justify having cable tv again.
