Change in the definition of "visits"

I think this is smart move by comScore Media Metrix as reported in today's AP News, a change is being made in the definition of a "visit" to a webpage. In the past a visit was only counted once per "unique" visitor which to use an example from my local blog, gives you a number of the number of readers but, people do tend to visit more often to participate in discussion and to see what else has been written, if a blog is doing a good job in attracting readers. While I don't think the unique visitor stats should be thrown out as they are important, figuring in statistics to how well a blog does at drawing the same readers back during the course of a day is I believe a valuable stat.
