Costco profits down...will it affect Toledo?

There was a huge debate that started well over a year ago on whether a Costco store should come to the Toledo area or not and some, including our Mayor who did not want the store in the location that it is being built. Yet it was hailed as a great way to bring money to our local economy and tax credits as well as tax abatements were given to Costco to come here. So, when I read today's AP news that Costco's profits were down 16%, which is according to the company being attributed to their change in their return policy for electronics...I couldn't help wondering if some of those who were more cautious that did not believe tax credits and abatements should be given to a big box store company could have been right...
