A "Greener" Capitol?

Seriously, I should just declare today "Green News" day, it's not purposeful, it's just the stories that are catching my eye. However, I was disappointed to discover someone had beat me to the joke I immediately thought of when I read this Cleveland Plain Dealer article:
No telling whether that means solar panels could come to the Capitol. But it's certain you'll hear a joke or two about harnessing all that hot air under the dome.

On the non-joking side, I think it's a good thing that:
A successor to Ney as chair of the House Administration Committee, Democrat Juanita Millender-McDonald, has a new idea for making the Capitol modern. Along with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, she wants to see if the Capitol complex can become "green."

I thought it was rather stupid for President Reagan to have the solar panels removed from the Whitehouse....
