Portable heater takes chill off in Basement...
I don't purposely keep my 17 year old in the basement, that is where she wanted her room and she has a different idea of what is "comfortable" when it comes to the house temperature. She prefers things much more "toasty" than we do for the rest of the house which necessitates the purchase and general knowledge about portable heaters. We've tried several different types and the most important thing to consider when using a portable heater is safety, the reason most house fires start is not the heaters fault, it's the person who operated the heater not following the directions. We just had new gas lines put in the house so for our needs for her, a unit like this Wall Heater is a very cost efficient option. DESA, the sponsor of this post clearly states in their information for wall heaters which ones they recommend be professionally installed, that's a valid point and while it is a point to take into consideration with the initial cost factor, the use of this type of portable heater is more cost effective and safer than an electrical or other fuel powered portable heating unit.

I'm not sure whether to thank you for the additional information or if you are a spammer leaving comments since I fully admit I only read English.
:-)
Here's some English for you, Lisa! LOL!!
17 years old with the basement to herself? Sounds like Heaven!!
Can I be 17 again, and be your daughter? LOL!!
Yes! I have a feeling you'd be much easier to live with.
