Update on the salmonella outbreak in peanut butter

Following up on a story blogged about earlier, today's news has an update on the story of the recent outbreak of salmonella in peanut butter. The ban of products extended beyond just the jars of Peter Pan and Great Value Peanut butter to also other products in which the peanut butter was used in. The FDA is reporting that they identified the strain involved and it's being stated that they believe it happened due to not using proper sterilzation of containers.
