Teens getting smarter in protecting online information
It was encouraging to discover that larger numbers of teenagers are protecting their online information, including two thirds of them making their profiles private. However, the mere making of a profile private depends on who you accept as a friend. I've discovered that all too often a "friend of a friend" is added which can turn out to not really be a teenager. That defeats the whole reason to make a profile private. It is something that we as parents need to continue to be aware of and to make sure that we have access to our children's online accounts...
