One Laptop Per Child failing in price and concept
As discussed before it's been very disappointing to see what has happened with the One Laptop per Child program. The computers were supposed to sell for one hundred dollars, which does not appear to be happening and now they are not going to rely on Open Source software but instead Windows will be installed. This is going to change quite a bit within the laptops, make them slower since these laptops were not designed for Windows and we discover today, that even additional drivers would have to be added. It seems like some of the adults want Windows to be able to use these computers for themselves rather than for what they were designed...One Laptop Per Child....
