It can be difficult to talk about the topic of child insurance, since most people don't want to think about the possibility of needing death benefits or funeral expenses for a child. Years ago when my stepson died, we learned first hand how expensive funeral costs were and it made it much harder on our family to get through the loss with the added financial pressures. While budgets can be tight on many families with young children, checking into the different types of insurance out there is something I highly recommend.
