Drink your veggies...

It's pretty well known that the majority of Americans do not take in the amount of fruits or vegetables that they are supposed to take in as their recommended daily amount of servings. Most don't even come anywhere close to the amount of servings per day and this is especially important for children and teenagers. That's why a product that can help you to Drink My Daily Veggies is growing in popularity for those concerned about their health and the state of their diet.

Each packet of Drink Your Veggies equals 2 USDA Veggie Servings and is only 25 calories, as well as has four grams of protein, and you can either mix it with water and drink it that way or it's really easy to use the packets in your cooking. Personally what I do is add one or two packets to sauces and my two that are very picky about which vegetables they eat have no idea that they have just moved one step closer to getting their daily allowance in veggies. Red Sauce for pasta is an easy one to add to but even in dishes like Lo-Mein where you use a soy based sauce adding the dried Drink Your Veggie packets adds flavor and the power of the vegetable in a quick and easy manner.

One of my daughters is a vegetarian so for her, the extra protein is an added plus since it can be difficult at times for her to get the right amount of protein. She likes to take a packet of the Drink Your Veggies and add it to pesto then serve over whole wheat pasta. It's a quick and easy meal that is very healthy. Another great way to use the packets is to add them to rice as it is steaming, adds some additional flavor and the power of the veggie. We've also used the packets with sour cream to make a great quick veggie dip for raw veggies.

As you can see the possibilities are limitless and if this is something you'd like to try for yourself? Check out their free sample offer.
