Employee has had enough of the smell...

AP news is reporting a lawsuit being filed by an employee for the City of Detroit because they can no longer take not just the smell of the perfume worn by another co-worker but also a plug in air freshener that is making her sick. It's unfortunate that this story had to end in a lawsuit being filed, but it's not surprising. All too often co-workers don't stop to realize how their behavior can have an impact on others. It's like the story not long ago where microwave popcorn was going to be banned from City offices out West because people were allowing the popcorn to burn which created fire drills and other problems.

I guess respect of others is becoming an unrealistic expectation...
