I'm not talking about the kind of big western branding when all of the folks gather round to brand cattle, the type of branding I'm focusing on is product Branding. Where a carefully crafted public relations campaign using either an image or a slogan becomes imprinted in the mind of the consumer. The main focus of Brand Identity Guru (BIG for short) is the difference between a companies brand identity and brand image, and to be able to determine that, they not only come in with a fresh approach and perspective but many tools to help you bridge that gap which creates a bigger share of the market for your business.
I really enjoyed visiting the BIG website, http://www.brandidentityguru.com. You get an instant feel for how they approach their clients with the creativity and use of technology right from the very first few seconds of being on the site. Their "Take the brand strength test" interactive feature is attention getting and again shows the level of creativity of those who work for BIG have. I'm not normally a fan of the pop up person speaking but the way it's done on the BIG site is informative and entertaining, if it can get the attention of someone who normally quickly looks for the button to close that feature out? You know it's good. The only thing I would have liked to have seen different would have been for their newsletter, "The BIGNews" to have been in an online format rather than a pdf.
It's obvious BIG is serious about helping you succeed when it comes to branding, and if you are interested in a company that will use all of the available technology to help you? Think BIG...
