Mattel CEO Robert Eckert apologizes again...

Mattel CEO Robert Eckert made another public apology on the issue of unsafe toys that were made in China and sold by his company but like most of the public it appears that the Senate panel he was testifying before found it "heartening". Personally, given this has been a known issue for years when it came to the quality issue of items made in China full well knowing that the reason the items were made so much cheaper was the cheaper materials as well as the lack of oversight, the recent lead paint experience should have really surprised no one. Yet when you read the CNN article it doesn't appear many in Congress realize the main fact. You get what you pay for, and if you manufacture cheap? Most times you get a cheap product...
