The death of the pop up...

I've noticed recently that there seems to be a decrease in websites using pop ups which could be directly related to the popularity of the popup blocker. Now unfortunately many have replaced pop ups with ads that you have to view before being able to go to the page you want to, which technology has not yet found a way to block but I'd be some tech genius is out there right now working on a way...
