Stay at home mom's head back to work...

For many of us the first sentence will strike home, but the Time article is an interesting look what's happening in the economy:
Of course, for much of the U.S., working is not optional. But with men making up 82% of the recession's job losses, women are flocking to mom-centric job and career-consulting sites, where they learn how to translate their maternal skills (negotiation, time management) into corporate argot. Mom Corps, a staffing company that pairs women with white collar jobs that have flexible hours, in February surveyed its 500 most recent registrants: 63% said the economy was driving their decision to look for work. Five percent said they joined because their spouse was laid off.

What was really interesting was discovering the ratio of applicants to jobs, over 1,000 Moms and only 54 jobs at the one agency.

Most advertisements for work-at-home jobs are scams. They're created by people who simply want to make money from home by promising you that you can make money from home if you just buy their book, subscribe to their newsletter or blog, etc. for a certain fee. Whenever you see those ads, you should flag them as spam and run!
