I'm not really sure if this is something to be proud of but AP News is reporting that in the EU between 50 to 80 percent of all emails received are spam. Attempts by some of the countries, the Dutch as one example has helped reduce some spam by hitting those caught with very heavy fines. Yet the main culprits of most EU spam?
United States, which accounts for 21.6 percent of spam coming into the 25-nation EU. China is the second-biggest producer with 13.4 percent, while EU member France is third with 6.3 percent.
China surprised me as coming in second, I guess despite the rules placed on those who use the net in China sending out spam must be okay with the government censors...
