Why I don't recommend Go Daddy...

When I decided to enter the "my own domain" world for my other local blog I made a huge mistake. I went with go daddy. If you are an experienced web person it may very well work for you but I was and still am a beginner when it comes to the issues of hosting and having your own domain. Go Daddy's help is not easy to use, the instructions are difficult to find and I have been very disappointed with their level of customer support when I have called for help.

I'm learning, but with the way go daddy is set up, it is much harder than it needs to be to be able to set up a domain if you want any creative control and don't want to pay additional fees.
