In the category of OMG what were they thinking comes the news that Jim Samples stepped down after their marketing campaign that featured signs encased in dark plastic with wires protruding and lights wired to an electronic circuit board, and included a character making an obscene gesture. After the first one was found in Boston Wednesday morning, police responded to calls of similar devices in at least eight other areas. It's going to cost the company close to a million dollars to pay for the costs the City of Boston had as well as two men were arrested and could face prison time for being hired. This is listed as one of the top ten most stupid business moves in recent memory. That is easy to see why...
