Marines mess with garage door opener signals...

Recent changes to the signal used by the Marines at their base in Colorado Springs has made garage door openers in the area fail, forcing people to either not use their openers or have to buy updated receivers and systems that are said to be more expensive. As CNN reported the same thing happened on a base in Maryland and some of the residents believe the government should compensate them. In a way I see their point, if they were not aware this could happen it does seem that some type of a compensation program should have been developed.
