Greenspan a tad of a hypocrite?

It seems now that Alan Greenspan has retired not only is he singing a different tune on some subjects but many are believing his quest for the limelight and $150,000 a pop in speaking fees has gone to his head. I'll let you be the judge from this CNN Money article, but I have to say as a person who once respected him? It appears those that questioned his motivations in the past could have very well been correct.
