Everything old becomes stylish again...

Years ago it was cool to have your bed be a platform bed, especially when we were in our more college years and most of us did it because we couldn't afford a real bed yet didn't want to just have our mattress on the floor. Now, these modern platform beds have become very stylish and come in a variety of designs. In our home a platform bed is a must since we would have to buy a much more expensive foundation that could be split to be able to get it upstairs into the master bedroom.
