Birdwatching season approaches

As we head towards Spring, it's the time when many head outdoors for their favorite past time -- birdwatching -- Here in Northwestern Ohio there are many who consider this more than an occasional hobby in addition to the casual birdwatcher. However, no matter your level of interest, use of the right scopes makes birdwatching easier and more enjoyable. There are a variety of different levels of scopes and binoculars out there, for the beginner and the expert.

My tarp is a very very fine tarp...

Our garage is very small and is full of items from children who have moved and are using our garage as an unpaid storage facility. Hence, we utilize tarps to protect things that should be in the garage. Normally I prefer canvas tarps, they can go from covering the lawnmower or that desk that just won't fit in the garage to being a good ground cover for our tent, it keeps the tent bottom cleaner and it's much easier to spray off a tarp than it is to clean a tent bottom.

I also use poly tarps to cover the pool, even though it's a very small pool, a poly cover helps keep leaves and other debris out of it when it rains. Hence making pool cleaning an easier task.

Whatever you decide you can use tarps for, you can easily find just the right tarp online, many times at a much lower cost than your local retail store.

Someday soon it will be patio weather

Right now here in my part of Ohio it's still not exactly what I'd call "spring like" weather but eventually it will be here. We've already started cleaning up the deck from the junk that seems to accumulate every winter to get ready for the warmer days when we spend time out there. This time of year is also a good time to start looking at what needs to be replaced, see if it is time to replace those outdoor cushions that were debatable at the beginning of last summer...
