Blogging is giving me wrinkles...

At times I wonder why I decided to move my most popular political blog on to it's own domain. There are moments where it is a huge technical nightmare and dealing with the really unsupportive tech support that tells me a different story every time I call, has created enough worry and stress that perhaps they should start offering wrinkle cream with every domain/hosting account they sell. Hair dye too, since I'm certain I'm going more gray related to the whole experience.

The dreaded..five...zero...

Today I'm exhausted and I actually can say I feel how old I'm going to be. Yes, the dreaded 50 in 11 days (but who's counting). Turning thirty did not bother me, nor did 40 but the mental concept of turning 50 is one I've been struggling with. It's also made me think about things I never really spent much time thinking about, like Skin Care Products, as I start looking for signs of age spots.

As warned below though, there are very few products that garner complete raves, it is always a good idea to make sure you have read any fine print as far as a return policy, just in case your experience with a product is not what you expected...

When I see people purchase domain names that are long, I always cringe, the idea is to have a domain name that gives a hint to what the site is about or at least one that will be easy for people to remember. Diamonds in body wash...

You might not think of diamonds in a body wash, instead you probably thing of diamonds as far as other products such as jewelry or even manufacturing. But, diamond dust is used in quite a few products, including make up. It doesn't create a huge amount of glitter as you might imagine but just a soft sparkle, though there are some diamond dust products that do give a more noticeable sparkle. Knowing that my husband just had a bad experience at the store and coming home with this mean and evil look on his face I'm wondering if he's going to need some wrinkle cream. With a look like that I wouldn't want to be on his bad side and the last thing he needs is long lasting wrinkle marks from that experience. Hmmm, maybe I should rub some on when he falls asleep, but with my luck he'd wake up.

To make up or not to make up

No, I'm not writing about making up as in after having a fight with someone but my long stemming resistance to wearing makeup. Part of it stems from working so many years from home, but now even when I'm on television, I don't wear make up, which creates lectures from my makeup expert daughters on the merits of eye cream and new mineral foundations and blushes, etc., etc. It's really never appealed to me, even when I did wear make up, it didn't last all day, if you did anything strenuous like playing softball it'd streak, and it didn't seem as if it was worth the time. What is ironic that with my make up apathy, all four of my daughters are the exact opposite...
