Normally I prefer blinds over curtains since with cats they are much easier to deal with. Less fur and much easier to clean, that was until my ex-husband decided to drop off a cat on my porch taped in a box on my birthday. The cat was one he bought for my youngest daughter then decided since he did not want to care for it any longer it was somehow my problem.
Not being a cruel evil monster, "Yoko" took up residence here which was not acceptable to the other cats in the household. Perhaps they knew what I did not know, since she is destructive...Not always on purpose as we learned today. She decided to stick her head through the window blinds, then of course got stuck and as I heard the yowling and went to help? She took care of the blinds...With her ginsu claws...
