How I use Local.com

While many people think that a basic computer search engine is the way to find local businesses, I use a website called Local.com when I am in Toledo or away from home. Take yesterday as an example, one of my daughters locked her keys in her car and I needed to call around to try to find who could come within a reasonable time period and also charge a reasonable fee. In a matter of seconds using the local search feature, I was able to find not only companies but a much better price than the one company she had called.

It's also a great way to find local restaurants that you may know you remember where the place is, but are not quite sure. You can also search for the type of food, as an example, Chinese restaurants. If you have had a particularly good experience or a bad one with a business or an eating establishment, you also have the ability to write a review.
