I've actually looked into buying prescription drugs from an Online Canadian Pharmacy in the past, using one of the drugs I'm on daily as an example, it costs the same for a 100 day supply as it costs here in Toledo for a 30 day supply, even when the shipping charge is added into the total amount it's still a decent savings.
In my personal scenario, we are fortunate enough to have prescription drug coverage, and since the cost of that drug is over the cost of the deductible it's not cheaper for me personally to use an online service. For those who do not have prescription coverage or have a higher deductible, buying online through a Canadian Online Pharmacy could save you hundreds of dollars per order. You have the option of selecting a generic or non-generic for most medications and they are the same quality, and the same manufacturer most times as you would receive here in the US. I highly recommend checking to see if the manufacturer is listed and if the site also tells you up front what the shipping charges will be. It's important to add those in to be able to tell exactly how much you will save and how long it will typically take for your order to arrive.
