While safety's on my mind...

While the topic of safety is on my mind, something that has always bothered me is those who don't take advantage of safety equipment related to their employment and leisure activities. I realize it's become popular with some to assume that nothing will ever happen and that donning whatever gear is available just boggs the person down or takes too much time to mess with. Yet, I can't get that old adage out of my head, "the life you save may be your own."
