On the online betting exchange Intrade, the probability of Bernanke being confirmed dropped in less than 24 hours, from 93 percent to 74 percent Friday.
Maybe some of them are pretending to increase their betting payout...

What made me laugh was that people are actually betting on this, as per the Washington Post like they would a horse race or a sporting event:
