Getting the most from your hosting...

Small to mid-size businesses can face many decisions when it comes to where and who do they want to use for their website hosting. The choices can seem complicated and there is a variation in price as far as what is available. For many looking at managed hosting solutions will prove to be ideal since it is less expensive and for smaller traffic websites can provide good customer service, sales and information without pauses in service.

For those who have grown beyond shared hosting, dedicated server hosting is a must. It's actually a situation I face with my one local political blog, it's grown to the point where I'm looking at a virtual dedicated server as the solution to the site not being accessible during heavy traffic periods.

If you've bought your own servers and have discovered you've outgrown them? You also have options that don't include having to buy more hardware, there are colocation services you can take advantage of. Even if you are not looking to upgrade there are cost advantages and service advantages to colocating that are worth checking out.
