Now that my mind is focusing on those who are texting or listening to iPods who are walking into poles or into oncoming traffic, I wondered how far could this possibly go. Warning signs at Hilton Head rentals "Don't walk into the water with your electronic device" or "Walking into the ocean could be hazardous to your electronic device"...
One of the main reasons I have avoided becoming "good" at text messaging is I personally find it still enjoyable at times to not be constantly connected to the internet. Last night at the movies I was dismayed to see people while in the theater who plopped down ten bucks for a ticket sitting there and texting rather than enjoying the film.
