If life were like Monopoly....

As the reigning household Monopoly champion, I often wonder what if real life was like the game. Would I be able if given a certain amount of start up money to find myself in no time the owner of a las vegas hotel or some other huge corporation? Would my skills and my ability to negotiate deals that were beneficial to me, while appearing to be beneficial to members of my household transcend beyond the mere game board? Would the luck of the dice in rolling just the right number of doubles exist when it came to the luck needed in being in the right place at the right time in the business world? I'll never find out, but at times it's fun to ponder...
