I don't disagree with this Fortune article at all, Even Bigger Nightmare On Tech Street since I have friends and family who work in the tech industry. Companies are already experiencing problems and starting to do things like hiring freezes, eliminating or reducing perks that used to be almost an industry standard to lure the best and brightest out west, as an example, one big company ending the free food to a majority of it's buildings that used to be one of the things they bragged about to potential employees.
What's interesting to consider is the overall impact from these companies could very easily be compared to US automakers, but will they too get a bailout? If we follow what happened in the past? Probably not...
